Hey, I have an iPod Touch 1G with the model # MA627LL. I am on firmware 3.1.3, provided by Apple. Its a 16gb, so I have plenty of room to Jailbreak my iDevice. How may I go about Jailbreaking this iTouch? Oh yeah, I accedentally upgraded from iTunes 9.1 to 9.2 so would that be a problem? Thanks,

so for u ppl ... http://www.spiritjb.com/ .. only works with itunes 9.1 NOT itunes 9.2 .. this will jailbreak any idevice 3.1.3 (iphone3gsitouch 2g,3g "MC and MB models") it doesn't matter .. hope this helpd

My iPod touch is a MA623C I tried redsn0w 0.9.3 and 0.9.4 and they wont recognize the firmware (3.1.3(7E18)) how can this be fixed. Please Help!!!

since ur model starts with mb its the old 1
new ones starts with MC not MB

new iPod touches are the MC models
to know if ur iPod is MC or the older one “MB”
go to setting >> general >> about and look for “MODEL”
if ur iPod model starts with “MB” its the old 1 and if it starts with “MC” its the new 1

Hi, I have apple ipod touch 2G (model: MB528LL) now i have jailbreaked firmware 3.1.2 and I want upgrade to newest one. Can I use this jailbreak software to my ipod, or no? I dont uderstand sentence: “Apple has been successful in patching up the loop holes that were found in the early iPod Touch. That is why, the new iPod Touch 2G and 3G models donâ€™t support jailbreaking.” There you say this app dont support new touch 2G and 3G and i dont know how old I have the 2 gen. of my ipod.
