Google Nexus One Launches

Not just the phone, the software demo along with some history lessons about the Android and its development and the Google Earth for Android app was also announced!

Here are the official Google Nexus One specifications and they are no different than the ones which were leaked before.

  • Display: 3.7-inch (diagonal) widescreen WVGA AMOLED touchscreen
  • Camera: 5MP, autofocus, 2x digital zoom, video recoding @ 20 fps
  • Processor: Qualcomm QSD 8250 1 GHz
  • Operating System: Android 2.1 (Eclair)
  • Capacity: 512MB Flash, 512MB RAM, 4GB microSD included
  • Other: WiFi, accelerometer, bluetooth 2.1, digital compass etc.
  • Battery: Removable 1400 mAH battery
  • Power: Charges at 480mA from USB, at 980mA from supplied charger



Google Nexus One Price

Google Nexus One is available for a 2-year T-mobile contract for $179, and for other countries, Nexus One is available unlocked for $529.

Nexus One is only launched in the US for now, and UK, Hong Kong and Singapore are three test markets for shipping.
