This is one desktop application that I wanted to have for my Android phone and I’m glad I finally found it today.
Android Screencast is a small application that lets you control your Android phone from a PC using mouse and keyboard.
Chrome OS Netbook Release Date, Specifications & Price Leaked
Google has been working on a lot of things and we just can’t wait to know what exactly it is and when it is coming out. First, we have the Nexus One being rumoured to be released for $199 next month.
Now, we also have some details of the Chrome OS Netbook leaked out, thanks to IBTimes. Not sure, how reliable these ‘leaked’ details are, but according to them the Chrome OS netbook release date, specifications and price is out.
How to Install Hik@Ri 2.0.1.4 ROM on HTC Hero

Yesterday I wrote a tutorial about how you can install Android 2.1 on your HTC Hero. I used Lox’s HERO21 ROM in that tutorial that ROM was slow and quite buggy, so here’s another ROM I tried by Hik@Ri.
This ROM looks much more stable and faster than the previous one I shared. Here’s the tutorial so you can also give it a try.

Nokia NBU Backup File Explorer
All Nokia S60 users use Nokia PC Suite or the upcoming Nokia Ovi Suite Beta for managing their Nokia phones on PC.
One of the best features I like in them is the feature to create backups of our calendar and bookmarks. Nokia PC Suite creates a backup of your data in your phone and stores it as a NBU file which can’t be viewed.

Lately, I’ve been playing with various ROMs and mods available for the HTC Hero and Droid. The latest Community Release 1.8 of Android 2.1 is quite stable faster than previous releases so I thought of giving it a try.
Installation required a wipe and it went really smooth without any issues. This tutorial will help you try out the Android 2.1 OS and retain your current ROM so you can revert back anytime you want.
HTC Expresso for HTC Hero Android 2.1 Leaked
HTC Expresso is the next update to the HTC’s Sense UI which will make its way to HTC phones like Hero and Droid Eris somewhere around the first half of 2010.
A system dump of HTC Expresso for HTC Hero with Android 2.1 has been leaked out in the wild and is available for download for developers.
