iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware Update Coming Soon

iphone-3gs-iphone-3gBoy Genius Report has found something really interesting while going through their website logs – iPhone 3.1.3 and iPhone 4.0 firmware.

The server logs show that someone has been browsing the site using iPhone 3.1.3 OS.

The bits also show existence of iPhone 4.0 firmware, but no more details are known at this time. On the other hand, iPhone 3.1.3 looks more like a small update which will include bug fixes and minor app patches.

iPhone 4.0 will be released, probably, next summer along with the iPhone 4G that has been spotted in the wild a few days ago. As per our expectations, the update is going to be a major one with lots of new features added.
