How to Fix Widescreen FOV in Games

This is a very common issue with gamers having widescreen monitors to play games. Of course it’s more fun to play on widescreen monitors than the usual ones, but the game developers should also understand this.
For example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the game that broke records of the entire entertainment history in terms of sales, doesn’t support high widescreen resolutions.

Widescreenfixer adjusts the field of view (FOV) for the aspect ratio of your monitor. It works with several new games.
Not adjusting the FOV causes the top and bottom of the screen to be cropped. These games are currently supported:
- Battlefield 2
- Battlefield 2142
- BioShock
- Call of Duty 2
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Call of Duty: World at War
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Darkest of Days Demo
- SEGA Rally Revo
- Unreal Tournament
- Wolfenstein
