This fourth beta version has been released for beta testers to test for any bugs or any last minute issues before Mozilla released Firefox 3.6 final version.

Firefox 3.6 Beta 4 contains more than 100 fixes as compared to the previous versions and more than 70% of Firefox addon developers have upgraded their plugins to be fully compatible with the latest version.

  • Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
  • Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
  • Supports for the WOFF font format.
  • Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time.
  • Supports for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.
