Droid Explorer is a tool to manage your rooted Android device with the simplicity of Windows Explorer.

This flat out didn't work, wouldn't connect to the device

  • please start a discussion on http://de.codeplex.com/ if you would like to get it working. I would be glad to help you resolve any issue you had, plus it may be an issue for others as well, and we can get it resolved for them too.

Nice picture, very inviting UI, but, this soft does not work. Could not find device whatsoever. And I know that my device connection works because I can access it via winamp, or just browse the drive. I can also use my development studio to run and debug my apps on my android, but this soft does not find it.

Too bad, that it does not work.

Got it to work at last! :)
    1) The USB Debug must be turned on on your android phone (Duh!). Settings / Applications / Development / USB Debugging.

    2) My Phone is rooted, so I am the alpha and omega on my device. I am not sure if this app will work on a non rooted phone.

    3) Set USB connection to Mass Storage

Unless you are a geek like me, this app is not for you. :)

  • Too bad, that it does not work.
