Tweetz: Twitter Gadget for Windows 7
I have already shared how you can get AdSense stats and Windows Live Calendar on your desktop as Windows Gadgets, now here’s a simple gadget for Twitter too.
TweetZ is a Windows 7 gadget which is intended for a casual Twitter user. It provides the right amount of functionality without overwhelming or annoying you while working.
This desktop gadget works much like other Twitter clients. You can tweet and reply as expected. Click on the “What are you doing” button and the editing window pops up. It also supports mentions and direct messages.
It even has a URL shortener that automatically shorten long links.
