Get Android 1.6 on HTC Hero
Currently, HTC Hero is, no doubt, the most powerful and high-end Android device available in the market.
The last firmware update it got was sometime in early September 2009, but now when Google has announced Android 2.0 and most of the upcoming devices are based on it, Hero users are expecting Android 1.6 Donut on HTC Hero update.
Several users from UK and USA have contacted HTC Support to inquire about the next firmware update being available for HTC Hero, but they all got the same reply that Google is the one who releases new ROMs and we could expect a Hero Android 1.6 update by the end of October 2009 (which is already here?!).
