How to Add Gadgets in Google Wave

google-waveGoogle Wave lets you add gadgets and tools to your waves making them interactive and more useful.

Adding gadgets to your waves is very easy. At first, I had some difficulty in finding the procedure out, but once followed the right steps, it becomes a piece of cake!

How to Add Gadgets in Google Wave

Follow the steps below to add new gadgets to your wave in Google Wave:

  1. Start a new wave, or open the one you’d like to add to.
  2. Go to the section of the wave to which you’d like to add the gadget.
  3. In the compose window toolbar, click the icon for the gadget you’d like to install.
  4. The selected gadget will then appear in your wave.

How to Add External Gadgets in Google Wave

Follow the steps below to add gadgets from an external URL to your wave in Google Wave:

  1. Start a new wave, or open the one you’d like to add to.
  2. Go to the section of the wave to which you’d like to add the gadget.
  3. In the compose window toolbar, click the Insert Gadget puzzle piece.
  4. Enter in the box the URL for the gadget you’d like to add.
