htc-tattoo-4 Yesterday, we have been busy with the Rock and Roll event by Apple where new iPods were announced along with iPhone OS 3.1 and iTunes 9 . No, that didn’t mean we haven’t forgotten other brands.

Just today, HTC announced its another Android phone after HTC Hero. This time they have another smart name for their latest Android device called as HTC Tattoo .

HTC Tattoo is actually a low-end Android phone with a 2.8-inch display with a non-capacitive touchsreen. It is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, 512MB/256MB ROM/RAM and comes with 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera.

It also features expandable memory via microSD card  internal GPS, 802.11b/g WiFi, digital compass, accelerometer rotation, and Bluetooth 2.0. And like HTC Hero, this HTC Anroid phone will also have the modified Android UI called HTC Sense.

Why the name Tattoo? Because it has a Android robot tattooed on its back cover. More photos can be seen below.

HTC Tattoo will hit European market next month in October, and other selected countries later.
