Chrome hits Mac OS X and Linux

google-chrome-logoGoogle announced yesterday, about the availability of it’s web browser, Chrome, for Mac OS X and Linux. It is the first official developer release of Chrome and is just for testing purposes for now.

Chrome was initially released for Windows back in September last year, and at that time Google promised a Mac and Linux version later.

Angel Writer, Microsoft Word Alternative

angel-writer-boxWhat do you think is the best free text editor to open Microsoft Word (.doc) documents? In my opinion, Google Docs is, by far, the best one out there but that’s an online app.

If in any case you need to open a .doc file, when Internet is not available, Microsoft Word is the only option. Even though WordPad opens it too, but with very limited options and at times messes up the document.

iTunes 8.2 with iPhone OS 3.0 Support

itunes-logoAs WWDC 2009 comes near, Apple has been making arrangments that its iPhone OS 3.0 launches all well. Today, they released an update to their media manager, iTunes 8.2.

This update was released for public this afternoon through Apple Software Update. It brings support for iPhone OS 3.0, bug fixes and many accessibility improvements.
