Flash Player 10 Beta for Symbian, Android, webOS

flashplayerAdobe has announced that they will be releasing a new and updated version of Flash Player for most of the smartphone OS, which includes Symbian-based S60 devices, Android, Palm webOS and Windows Mobile platforms.

They are expecting to release the beta version of Flash Player 10 in October at Adobe MAX 2009. This announcement was made by the president of Adobe, Shantanu Narayen.

Adobe is giving full priority in getting Flash support in all the smartphone platforms. Although, they haven’t said anything about adding Flash support in iPhone OS and BlackBerry.

Flash Player 10 will enable users to experience the latest web standards on your cell phones. The first devices to have Flash Player 10 will be shipped in 2010.
