Backup Facebook Profile with SocialSafe
Most of us are addicted to online social networks like Facebook, Orkut, Hi5 etc. and for some managing an online social profile is now more important than keeping up with the one in real life.
Since no web service is infallible, you never know when your account might get hacked, deleted, suspended for false spamming or anything like that where you may lose important data, friends, uploaded photos etc.
We have already shared how you can backup your Twitter profile (followers), but there was no way to backup Facebook profile, until today, when I came across the perfect tool to backup your Facebook profile.
SocialSafe is a backup tool for Facebook which allowws you to download your Facebook friends, photo albums, photos you are tagged in and all your profile info to view them offline or just make a backup.

This Adobe AIR-based application is really simple to use, and it’s one license can let you use this application on two machines. Since SocialSafe has just released, there is lots of room for new features to be added. For now, your Wall Posts in Facebook are not backed up, but in the next versions that feature will also be added. Another feature I’m looking forward to is the backup of your private messages. I hope they add that soon.
Where is the backup stored?
If you’re wondering where your backup gets stored on your computer, a quick view in the FAQs page found me the path for stored backup location in Windows and Mac.

- Mac: /Users/[USER_NAME]/Library/Preferences/ com.1minus1.SocialSafeXXXXXXXXX/Local Store
