Unlock iPhone 3.0 with PwnageTool
Just like all the previous iPhone OS releases, an unlock software/trick has always been released soon after the official release of the iPhone firmware.
A few days ago we covered the Apple WWDC 2009 event where iPhone 3GS was announced. This iPhone is going to come pre-loaded with the new firmware 3.0.
The Dev Team Blog posted that they will be releasing Ultrasn0w, an updated version of Yellowsn0w, to unlock iPhone 3GS. So people, who are going to buy carrier-independent iPhone 3GS will have to wait a bit for the Dev Team to release it.
The Dev Team have posted some instructions for the existing iPhone and iPod Touch owners on how to unlock/jailbreak their devices using PwnageTool 3.0. Head over to their place, and take a look.
