Retrieve Lost Product Key in Windows

There are several ways to retrieve your lost product key of Windows Vista, but the one I’m sharing today is the easiest method I have found yet. Just a small freeware.

I’m sure none of us like messing up with the registry and other important files when the same work can be done using a small tool, that won’t even require any installation.

Fix for WordPress Image Upload Issue

wordpress-logoBloggers with self-hosted WordPress blogs must have come across an issue where when you try to upload an image or any media using the uploader in WordPress, and WP fails to move the file to your ‘uploads’ directory.

This issue is quite common in WordPress 2.5 and onwards and reasons are still unknown. Sometimes it gets fixed by giving the 0777 file permissions to all files and folders in the uploads directory, sometimes it doesn’t.

Transform Kubuntu 9.04 to Windows 7

linux-penguin-logoMicrosoft continues to tease us with a RC release of the upcoming operating system in the Windows franchise, Windows 7, which was released for public earlier this month on May 5th.

We have seen many Windows 7 transformation packs for XP and Vista but one for Linux is new to me. But unfortunately, it’s not for Ubuntu.

Previously, Magpie was the only service that allowed you to make money on Twitter. Then came TwittAd. Now there are two more services that I have included in the list below. There are no confirmations of their reliability, but the following monetizing services for Twitter looks promising.

ozone-logoThe race for the best and the fastest web-browsers never end, whether it’s the desktop version or mobile. In the past, we have covered two such mobile web-browsers, the infamous Opera Mini which was and is still the most popular mobile web-browser and Bolt.

When Fennec, Mozilla’s mobile web-browser for S60 devices, is just round the corner (or atleast we think that), we have a new contender to be the fastest browser. o3 – Ozone Browser, is a webkit-based browser with a very fast interface and nice features.
