Apple Safari 4 Beta Released
Apple has released today the next version of their popular browser, Safari 4, for Windows and Mac. One thing that it claims to be is the world’s fastest browser, and I think it is! It’s amazingly fast with improved navigation and searching.
Safari 4 is still in Beta stage, but it can load HTML pages up to 3 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3. And can execute Javascript 30 times faster than IE7 and 3 times faster than Firefox 3. It also features the new “Nitro” engine that runs JavaScript 4.2 times faster than Safari 3.

The interface has also been given a new look which now looks more like Google Chrome. And the famous Cover Flow feature that can be found in almost all Apple products is now also integrated in Safari 4. You can flip through bookmarks and history pages as if going throw album covers.
Safari 4 is the first web browser to pass the Acid 3 test, and comes with HTML 5 and CSS 3 web standards support for better and interactive websites.
