There are lots of desktop freewares and web apps available that offer image resizing and conversion from one format to another, either single or in bulk.

But none of them always meet your expectations and you again continue your hunt for a new single or bulk image resizer. In one such hunt, I stumbled across PIXresizer, a free photos resizer.

It is a free photo resizer that offers several different resizing methods and easily creates web and e-mail friendly versions, with reduced file sizes of your images. It can automatically recognize image sizes to calculate the best fit and supports popular image formats like JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG and TIFF.

You can upload a single file or work with multiple files at once. After that you only have to deal with 3 more steps. Enter the new size for your images, select the format in which you want the images to convert to and in the last step, you can just save the converted images by either output to grayscale or EXIF data.
