safehouse-logoUSB drives are used to carry data from one place to another, but not always you are sure that your data is completely protected. Data on iPod, removable drives, memory cards and portable media can now be hidden, locked and encrypted with a freeware.

SafeHouse Explorer can protect your documents, spreadsheets, photos, videos on your USB memory sticks, portable media and even iPods!

Using this app is a piece of cake. Simple drag-and-drop files in the application and it will encrypt, hide or lock the file. There are tons of settings and configurations to choose from.

Your data is in safe protection thanks to the super strong 128-bit advanced encryption. And best of all, this is a portable app which means you can run it directly from your USB drive.

Overall, SafeHouse Explorer is a very good tool for hiding and encrypting data from others.

  • Nice, now I can share USB with friends with my data in that. Cool software. I would prefer to hide, not locking them. Thumbs up.

i wouldn’t rely on software like this for real security purposes. Use some real, tested and open application like TrueCrypt instead.
