You can trasnfer photos between your iPhone and PC, send SMS to anyone from PC with your iPhone connected, manage bookmarks in Safari, contacts, text messages, notes etc. Plus you can transfer ringtones and music to your iPhone/iPod Touch without worrying of getting deleted when synced with iTunes.

This app only works with jailbroken iPod Touch/iPhones. And it also requires iTunes and Microsoft .NET Framework to work. If  iTunes hogs up a lot of memory, I say you give this a try.
