Windows 7 Calculator for Vista

For a couple of weeks I have been covering different articles related to Windows 7 like its screenshots, leaked torrent download, Windows 7 wallpapers and Windows Media Player 12 screenshots and a lot more.

Windows 7 is going to have a new version of Windows Calculator which will have up to 4 modes, unlike the current one which only has 2 modes. These modes are Standard, Scientific, Programmer, and Statistics.

This calculator has also been included in Windows 7 M3 Pre-Beta, and guess what? You can download it for Windows Vista too! Use the following link to download it.

There is no need to install this. Simple unrar the compressed file, and run the calculator by its EXE file. You can also replace the current Vista calculator with the new Windows 7 one. Follow the steps below to do it:

copy calc.exe to C:WindowsSystem32
copy en-US/calc.exe.mui to C:WindowsSystem32en-US

Now you should have the new Windows 7 calculator instead of the default Windows Vista one. Make sure you make a backup of the original calculator before replacing system files.
