Extend Windows 7 Trial to 90 Days
Unfortunately, the new Windows 7 Pre-Beta demo build is only good for 30 days and will expire after that. Now if you’re daring enough to use it, 30 days is not ample time to get acquainted to such a program, nor will you be able to learn all that you’d like to.
There is no method to activate Windows 7 permanently yet, but for now we can lengthen the trial from 30, to 90 days with a short trick, which should be more than as it is expected that Windows 7 Beta 1 will be coming out December end, or early January.

The trick is similar to the one used back when Vista was in beta form.
Here’s the trick:
- Download Windows 7 Pre-Beta M3 Build 6801 from here.
- Mount the ISO on a virtual machine or burn it on a DVD.
- Install Windows 7 now, but remember not to use an activation key!
- When installation is complete, open Command Prompt.
- Type any of the following three commands:
sysprep /generalize
slmgr.vbs –rearm
rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows - Hit Enter and now restart your computer.
That’s it! Now enjoy a free extended 60 day trial of Windows 7.
The trick is good to use twice. So, in order to get the full 90 days trial, wait until your first 30 days is up, follow the trick, then when that 30 expires, do it again.
