Windows 7 will be called “Windows 7″

Microsoft has finally announced that their upcoming OS will be officially called as Windows 7, the codename itself. This is the first time Microsoft will ever use the codename for the final product.

Mike Nash, of Windows Vista blog, confirmed this yesterday and said that Microsoft will continue to share more details with developers on Windows 7 at PDC and WinHEC conferences.

Convert Office 2007 DOCX to HTML

Microsoft introduced some new file formats in Office 2007, called the Microsoft Open Office XML Format (.docx, .xlsx) which are not compatible with any of the older versions of Microsoft Office or with other OS like Linux and Mac OS X.

So to view and open DOCX files, you have to purchase Microsoft Office 2007 or later. But what if you get to open it as HTML or any other open-source format?
