Tweak and Optimize Firefox 3, Download FireTune
Firefox 3 is very fast itself, but there’s always room for improvement and you can tweak and optimize it for best performance and speed.
Firefox settings are usually tweaked by manually changing the values in about:config (type this in the address bar). But since it’s not that easy for everyone, I have found a nice freeware which lets you optimize Firefox according to your computer speed and internet connection speed.
FireTune optimizes several internal settings of Firefox for better performance. The whole optimization process is fully automated and does not require any ‘geek’ knowledge – just make your selection from the available speed configurations and FireTune will do the work.
FireTune has been downloaded more than 2.5 million times and it includes everything to tweak Firefox to the max and to browse the internet faster.
It does NOT modify the Firefox executable, or any other Firefox binary file. So it’s pretty safe to use, plus it also creates a backup of all the configurations done.
