G1 is the first handset powered by Google’s very own open-source mobile operating system, Android. It was announced three weeks ago and is expected to release on October 22nd.

Not everyone will be able to taste it as it gets unveiled next month because you will have to sign a 2-year contract in order to get it unlocked.

For those who want to try out Android, one of the most powerful mobile operating system ever created, T-Mobile has set up an online emulator where you can check out the look and feel of G1. It also gives the option to take a 360 degrees view of this cool gadget along with its demo.

You can test its features and functions but the overall demo is incomplete. You will find many functions and features not availabe at the moment but it is expected they will add them soon.
