Windows 7 M3 Build 6780 Screenshots
Microsoft recently released Milestone 3 (build 6780) of their upcoming operating system Windows 7 to a few selected partners and manufacturers. They still haven’t revealed the final name for the OS.
This time the screenshots went up online first at ThinkNext revealing the new features and revamped design of Windows 7 applications.
Major changes that I saw in this release are the revamped modules of Paint and WordPad (exactly what it was leaked earlier) and a complete makeover of Display Properties and Windows Calculator which looks totally different from previous Windows OS.

Well lets put it this way, as windows xp was to windows 98 and how windows 2000 was also, its bluddy supposed to look similar, dont expect them to completly re-design everything for god sake, its the same as apple too, tiger to leopard had similar looking operating systems but leopard is by far more slim lime, faster, powerful and easier to use and user friendly, as vista was supposed to be for windows xp, now windows 7 will be an advancement on vista and will fix any problems vista has come accross, might even not need anti-viruses anymore. There were no complaints as to how vista looked, it was how it ran and a few errors so i dont know why people complain about it ‘looking’ like an operatiing system its an ADVANCEMENT of :/.

The pictures actually show that vista was the precursor of windows 7, where lots of new redesigning, and lots of feature testing took place.
I reckon that vista wud be pulled from shipping as soon as 7 is released!
In any case, lots of eye candy is good for your eyes :p
