There are many other free iPod managers that you can easily find and use as alternatives to iTunes.

YamiPod is a freeware application to efficiently manage your iPod under Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. It can be run directly from your iPod and needs no installation.

YamiPod: Free Alternative iPod Manager

It automatically recognizes iPods and displays its information. YamiPod can copy MP3 and AAC files to and from iPods. It has full playlist support with import and export feature for PLS and M3U. It has a built-in music player, search features, duplicate tracks removal, ratings and much more.

You can easily synchronize your PC audio folders with your iPod. Multiple iPods and Last.fm support is also included. Unfortunately, the only downside of this app is that it does not support iPod Touch and iPhone, rest all iPod generations work with it.

YamiPod is a very nice alternative for iTunes and the best part I liked about this freeware is that it does not need any installation and can run directly from your iPod. Download are available as BitTorrent links from here. Or you can download the Windows version directly from the RapidShare mirror I made below.

I prefer CopyTrans Manager instead Floola.

CopyTrans Manager is fastest as all other iPod managers, and it works very fine.

    It’s free to. http://www.copytrans.net/manager.php
