Download Firefox 3 Theme for Chrome
Many people have already moved on to Google Chrome from Firefox 3 for it’s amazing features and simplicity. But some like me are are using both to get the best out of them.
Just two days ago I wrote about the first five themes that are available for download for Google Chrome and a new set of themes have been released now. In the latest themes, a developer has made a Firefox 3-styled theme for Chrome.
The Chrome navigation icons in this theme are exactly like the ones in Firefox 3 and have a grey top bar.

How To Install This Theme
Replace the default.dll file in the following folder with the new theme file.
Windows XP users:
Extract it to
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application.2.149.27\Themes\
Windows Vista users:
Extract it to
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\0.2.149.27\Themes\
Note: Make sure you make a backup of the original default.dll file first.

Local link for XP users is broken. It should be C:\…….\Application.2.149.27\Themes\ :)

Why a .dll and not a standard Firefox3 theme?
I am running GNU/Linux and can’t use it… :-(

I’ve misunderstood… and thought it was a Chrome theme _for_ FF3 and not the opposite :-D
