Google Chrome is an open-source web browser based on Apple&#8217;s Webkit Engine. It has only been released for windows so far but google intends to release the mac and linux versions soon as well. I have personally not used chrome so far, but I intend to try it out for a couple of days to see how it is. This is the very first public beta release so there are bound to be bugs and security holes. Google has however made quite an effort to enhance the security of the browser.
