Google recently rolled out a new feature for Google Search homepage that had long been in testing at Google Labs.

Google Suggest is a new feature that suggests search keywords as you type in the search box and offer results in real-time.

Many of you have been excited by this new feature introduced by Google, but I’m sure there also will be people who are not interested in it and would like to disable it. To disable this feature, follow the steps below.

How to Disable Google Suggest Feature

1. Go to Google.com

2. Click on Preferences beside the search box.

3. Scroll down to Query Suggestions, and select the second option: Do not provide query suggestions in the search box.

If you later plan to enable it back, follow the steps below.

1. Go to Google.com

2. Click on Preferences beside the search box.

3. Scroll down to Query Suggestions, and select the second option: Provide query suggestions in the search box.
