The latest iPhone firmware update was released a few days ago and many users updated to it as it brought several updates and bug fixes. But with this release, a major security issue has been found.
If you are using JesusPhone to password protect your iPhone, then using a simple trick, anyone can gain access to your private information like in mail, SMS, contacts, and even Safari.
How To Fix iPhone 2.0.2 Security Problem
Just follow the steps below to overcome this issue temporarily.
- In the iPhone home, go to Settings.
- Click on General.
- Click on Home Button.
- Click on either “Home” or “iPod”.
That’s it. This is just a temporary fix for this security issue. Apple has a fix coming in their next firmware update, but the release date has not been announced.
