Surf the Web Anonymously with OperaTor

I use Opera as my second browser after Firefox, and I’m really impressed with its speed and memory consumption. Here is an application that lets you browse the web annonymously using Opera’s engine.

OperaTor is a portable web browser that lets you browse the web anonymously and comes bundled with the combined power of Opera, Tor and Polipo.

If you are already a portable web browser user, I would recommend you to try out OperaTor because it allows anonymous browsing and can run from a USB drive anywhere you want. With this browser, no data will be stored at the computer you plugged your portable memory into.

You just have to download the 7 MB compressed file, extract it in your USB drive and start using it! No installation is required. The latest version includes Opera 9.5.1 and a new skin.

OperaTor currently only anonymizes are HTTP and HTTPS protocols. The developer has warned users to avoid using Java, JavaScript, Bittorrent, integrated e-mail and IRC clients in Opera for a more secure browsing.
