There were rumours that the new Apple iPhone firmware 2.0.1 update will be out today, and guess what. It really did! Apple has released the first update for its iPhone firmware 2.0 and it is now available for public download though iTunes.

It is expected that this new firmware will fix the bugs that were found in iPhone 2.0 i.e crashing apps, interminable keyboard delays, choppy scrolling etc. This firmware update will also be available for iPod Touch users.

The firmware 2.0.1 is approximately 250 MB is size, but don’t you think it’s a bit too big just for bug fixes? May be there is something else also in this update and Apple will surprise us!
