Recently, while browsing the Messenger Plus! Live skins database, I stumbled across a very cool Facebook skin that can be used on Windows Live Messenger (formerly knows as MSN Messenger).

I’m a regular Facebook and Windows Live Messenger user. So it was nice to have that new WLM skin for a change. I was tired of the usual default skin.

The icons you see for Add a contact, open email inbox, go to your Space, Go to Windows Live Today and mobile device messaging are exactly the same ones on Facebook. I like the thick blue strips in the top of main window. Even the arrows to expand/collapse your contact list are of Facebook’s.

Requirements:

Make sure you have Messenger Plus! Live installed before downloading the skin. Download here. It only works with Windows Live Messenger 8.5!

How To Install

Simply run the skin file you just downloaded. Your Windows Live Messenger will restart and the new skin will be applied.
