WordPress app for iphone

With the launch of Apple App Store, new iPhone applications are popping up everywhere. WordPress and Facebook has released their official apps for iPhone and iPod Touch.

WP iPhone app is the first app that brings WordPress to iPhone. And is the first and the only open-source app in iTunes App Store. It has all the usual features that a blogger needs like post writing, managing, categories, preview option and uploading photos directly from camera. It works well with WordPress.com blogs and with self-hosted blogs powered by WordPress 2.5.1 or higher.

Facebook isn’t staying behind. An official native Facebook app for iPhone has also been released today bringing high degree of mobility.

You can browse profiles, chat with your friends, check your friend’s status or update your own, sent private messages and tons of more stuff. You can even instantly upload photos to your Facebook Albums by taking it from the iPhone camera.

Both of these apps can be downloaded through the iTunes App Store.
