Sharing large files with family and friends could be quite difficult if you don’t have a web account of your own. File hosts like RapidShare and MediaFire do allow hosting of large files but since they get indexed by search engines, you can’t share private stuff like that.
Pando is a free P2P file-sharing software that allows you to download, share and stream large media content among family and friends. You don’t need to upload your videos to YouTube, share a folder though IMs or send large email attachments. It’s fast, easy and fun to use!

Launchy is a free utility that helps you to open applications with just a few keystrokes. It will make you forget your start menu, desktop icons etc.
It indexes all the applications from your start menu and can launch your documents, project files, folders, and bookmarks with just a few keystrokes. I recently gave it a try and found it to be quite a time saver!

Changing the boot screen (start up screen) is very easy but using the right tool to do so is very important. Many free tools offer boot screen replacement, but always mess up with your Windows files and the end result is that you have to re-install Windows all over again.
One of the easiest and safest method I found was by using Tuneup Utilities. It does not increase the computer boot time but it’s good to have a change.
Firefox 3.1 Alpha 1 Available For Download

Firefox 3.1 Alpha 1 (Shiretoko) is already here and is now available for download. It looks like yesterday only Firefox 3 was released, and here we are today with the first alpha version of Firefox 3.1.
Firefox 3.1 is scheduled to release by the end of this year which will have a new visual tab switching feature that will work like the Alt + Tab switching feature in Windows.
