I have seriously become a fan of products from Brando! Last time I reviewed a cool looking egg-shaped speakers, and today I have a gadget for all who love to spy like James Bond.
USB Spy Camera with MP3 Sunglasses is a unique pair of sunglasses that comes with 2GB of internal memory and which is more than capable of storing up to 15,000 photos with its spy cam.
Sharing large files with family and friends could be quite difficult if you don’t have a web account of your own. File hosts like RapidShare and MediaFire do allow hosting of large files but since they get indexed by search engines, you can’t share private stuff like that.
Pando is a free P2P file-sharing software that allows you to download, share and stream large media content among family and friends. You don’t need to upload your videos to YouTube, share a folder though IMs or send large email attachments. It’s fast, easy and fun to use!
Launchy is a free utility that helps you to open applications with just a few keystrokes. It will make you forget your start menu, desktop icons etc.
It indexes all the applications from your start menu and can launch your documents, project files, folders, and bookmarks with just a few keystrokes. I recently gave it a try and found it to be quite a time saver!

Changing the boot screen (start up screen) is very easy but using the right tool to do so is very important. Many free tools offer boot screen replacement, but always mess up with your Windows files and the end result is that you have to re-install Windows all over again.
One of the easiest and safest method I found was by using Tuneup Utilities. It does not increase the computer boot time but it’s good to have a change.
Firefox 3.1 Alpha 1 (Shiretoko) is already here and is now available for download. It looks like yesterday only Firefox 3 was released, and here we are today with the first alpha version of Firefox 3.1.
Firefox 3.1 is scheduled to release by the end of this year which will have a new visual tab switching feature that will work like the Alt + Tab switching feature in Windows.
Today morning while browsing on Firefox, I found a new trick to quickly open new tabs. May be you would already be knowing about it, but for me it was new and I thought I would also share it with you in case you didn’t know about.
I accidently doubled clicked at the empty area in my tab bar (mostly its full), and suddenly a new tab opened. At first, I thought I must have used to key combination for that. But again when I double clicked in that area, another new tab opened. Till now I’ve using the Ctrl + T key combination to open new tabs, but I guess this new trick will help me open tabs more quickly!
Ever experienced getting an error like “Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive” when trying to open a Zip-compressed file? If you regularly download compressed files off the Internet, then you must have seen this error many times.
This error comes when the compressed file is damaged or corrupted. I have tried repairing such archives with the built in WinZip repair tool, but that has never helped me. DiskInternals ZIP Repair helps repair zip structure and extract the contents of a damage or corrupted archive.
Over the last few decades, Internet has grown massively and many new search engines have popped up aiming at the grand fathers, Google and Yahoo.
But as time passes, they all realize that it is impossible to beat Google and they do not even provide the relevancy of results. Cuil (pronounced as “Cool”) is a new search engine founded by ex-Google employees, Anna Patterson and Russell Power. They both have helped Google in making their search indexing better.
We all know that USB flash or pen drives are one of the most useful portable storage devices, and they help carry data from one place to the other. But since they are attached to different computers, you never know if the other PC is virus-free. These USB drives have become the most common source of how a PC gets infected with virus. To get rid of this, you need a good antivirus for your USB drive that scans every file being transferred to it.
