Yahoo AU: New Home Page Unveiled
Yahoo is still silent on the exec. departures even with their stock price going down day by day. They haven’t spoke a word about it anywhere. Today, TechCrunch reported about a new Yahoo home page being unveiled at Yahoo Australia. A new Yahoo logo was also spotted in the wild previously, but there were no expectations for a new home page design. You can take the tour of the beta design here. It’s still in beta, so you can expect some changes while the final design releases.
Hide Or Show Desktop Icons In A Click

Icon Hider is a free tool that allows you to hide or show your desktop icons in a click. Once this little application is executed, it sits in your taskbar and with a single click on its icon, you hide all your icons and shortcuts, and in another click restore them back. It does the job instantly without any flashing, or messing up the arrangement of your icons.
There are three ways in which you can hide/show your desktop icons.
- Click the tray icon
- Right-click the tray icon for hide/show icons menu
- Press Ctrl + 1
Free Blue-Ray Burning Using CDBurnerXP
It’s been a long time since I quite using Nero because it now gets tons of extra applications bundled with it. That makes it very slow, and then I started using a freeware that I’m going to share with you today. CDBurnerXP is a freeware that allows you to burn CDs, DVDs including Blue-ray discs and HD-DVDs. It can also be used to burn ISOs, bootable disks etc and provides a multilanguage interface.

Facebook For China Launched
Facebook for China has finally been launched today! It was in news for sometime now, but the exact date of its launch wasn’t known or announced. Mark Zuckerberg was planning this, because last year they registered Facebook.cn which redirected to Facebook.com. Xiaonei, a China-based Facebook rip-off, is already one of the most popular social networks in China, but looks like their good times are now about to end with Facebook launching there.

MovieReleased.com and RestOfTheMovie.com are such sites that allow you to watch full movies online for free. Movie files are uploaded in parts on other video hosts and their embedded video players allow you to watch them. You will find all the latest movies like The Incredible Hulk, Kung Fu Panda, Finding Amanda etc over there. But most of them are in CAM prints because DVDs don’t come out right after the movie gets released. You can even subscribe to their RSS feed to know about the latest uploaded movies.
Defrag Individual Files With Defraggler
Piriform brings us another useful free utility for our daily use called Defraggler. It is the same company that also brought tools like CCleaner and Recuva. What makes it different from other defrag tools is that it allows you to easily defrag files individually, without having to process the whole drive. Firefox 3 has a built-in advance colour support for images and page layouts. But by default, this has been disabled because by disabling it, it increases your Firefox’s performance by 10-15%. But if you have fast computer, there is no harm in enabling it then. Once you enable it, you will see a quite noticeable difference in the image quality.
Open Command Prompt From Right Click Menu

Here’s a quick Vista tip that I would like to share with you all. You can quickly open Command Prompt in Windows Vista from your right-click menu. It comes in handy when you don’t have a quick launch icon or a hotkey set to open a command prompt, and you have to go down all the way to Start menu to start it. This trick can be used without navigating the menu.
