Today, when I logged on to my Facebook account, I saw a new feature added to my Profile page. You can now leave comments on mini-feed items on anyone’s profile. Facebook is already rolling out new features for its upcoming new profile design and to increase its usability. Users have been given more features to play with, and developers are provided with more opportunities to put forward newer applications.

After a long break, Orkut seems to be all fired up by shooting new features in last few weeks like theme support, photo-tagging and status-updates. Of course, we could all notice what they are doing, by blindly copying Facebook features, and today, they have again added a new Facebook-copied feature which allows you to customize your Orkut profile page by drag and drop.

Finally, the first beta of WordPress 2.6 has been released, with many new features in it and is now available for download. WordPress is one of the world’s favourite blogging platform. This release won’t be as big as WordPress 2.5, but will be worth upgrading to, because of the number of interesting new features it has.
