Trinity Rescue Kit is a FREE live CD (Linux distribution), ideal for repairing, rescuing and recovering your Windows computer and can be equally used for Linux as well. You can use this live CD to backup or restore your passwords, or stop/remove a virus before it starts damaging your computer. Trinity Rescue Kit (TRK) can be used to recover lost partitions, deleted files etc. all by using the FREE Live CD.

  • Easily reset windows passwords (backup and restore)
  • 4 different virus scan products (ClamAV, AVG, F-Prot, BitDefender) integrated in a single uniform command line with online update capability
  • Full NTFS write support through ntfs-3g
  • Wide range of hardware support (kernel 2.6.19.2 and recent kudzu hwdata)
  • Easy script to find all local file systems
  • Recovery and un-deletion of files with utilities and procedures

You can boot the TRK Live CD in 3 ways:

  1. As a bootable CD which you can burn yourself from a downloadable ISO file.
  2. From a USB stick installable from Windows or from the bootable TRK CD
  3. From network over PXE, this requires some modifications on your local network.
