Facebook mini feed comment

Today, when I logged on to my Facebook account, I saw a new feature added to my Profile page. You can now leave comments on mini-feed items on anyone’s profile. Facebook is already rolling out new features for its upcoming new profile design and to increase its usability. Users have been given more features to play with, and developers are provided with more opportunities to put forward newer applications.

Users can now comment directly to a friend’s activity in mini-feed. Just click on the comment bubble icon to write a comment or see comments other people have written. As Tom Whitnah comments on Facebook blog:

In the past, you’ve been able to comment on photos, notes and posted items, but if there was something else on your friend’s profile—an interesting status, or a cool new friendship—you’d need to send a message or write a Wall post to talk about it. But starting today, you can comment on your friends’ Mini-Feed stories right from their profile.

This is a very popular feature in FriendFeed which has now been brought to Facebook as well.

If you don’t want friends to comment on your mini-feed items, you can turn this feature off from your Mini-Feed Privacy Settings.
