Download Windows 7 Theme for XP

Windows 7 is the next upcoming OS from Microsoft. And for some reason, they are not letting out much details about this OS. So I don’t think we’ll be able to get our hands on it any time soon. But what if we get to enjoy its look and feel on Windows XP and Vista, eh? Since not much is known about the OS, this theme looks more like Windows Vista, but its nice to see some refreshing changes to the same old look.

How To Install Windows 7 Theme In Windows XP

  • Download the Windows 7 theme from here.
  • Install “UXTheme Multi-Patcher 6.0.exe” from “UX Theme Patcher” folder. Or download from here for XP SP3.
  • Double-click “Windows 7 M1 VS.msstyles” in “ThemeWindows 7 M1 VS” folder to install and enjoy!

    Can this be uninstalled if something goes wrong? Does it actually replace the Windows files? I’ve tried a transformation pack before and it messed up my computer.

    No, it doesn’t. And I don’t think we need it for Vista since we already have the Aero glass theme in it.

    Guys, Windows 7 will look pretty much like Vista, It just have a few more exciting features and runs a lot smoother. Don’t question this fellas uploaded theme.

    If you really want a theme like Windows 7, You can still download the Beta. Damn, You won’t get a better theme until the time get’s closer or some smart designer or theme producer actually makes one.

    Theme does not display captchas and has the tendency to often do the same with thumbnails in general at random. Fix those two issues (as well as the resource hog issue) and you have a win.

    Its like VISTA no Windows 7. I have installed Windows 7 but that looks entirely different than given here. Start button and start menu is not black in Windows 7.
