Windows Vista comes with tons of goodies that are not used by everyone, hence, making Vista more resource hungry and slows down Windows a lot. Unfortunately, WIndows Vista does not provide the option to choose what components we want to install, and want components we don’t. Low memory computers can’t run Windows Vista because of the visual effects that require high memory and processing power.
vLite is a tool to customize the installation of Windows Vista before installing it. It provides an easy removal of unwanted components and programs, to make Vista run faster on your PC. This tool doesn’t use any kind of hacking, all files and registry entries are protected as they would be if you install the unedited version only with the changes you select.
vLite creates an ISO of your tweaked Vista installation which you can burn and install later anytime you want. This method is much cleaner, not to mention easier and more logical than doing it after installation on every reinstall. Saves you lots of time to tweak Vista’s components individually after installation.
