Ever had to uncompress an important file at school or office and you don’t find any uncompressing application on the computer? Situations like this can occur, and can get really frustrating at times. This is why I found an online tool which uncompresses files online without requiring you to install anything on your computer.

WobZip is a web tool that allows you to uncompress zip files online. It does not require any registration and features quick, safe and easy uncompressing online. Simple browse the file, and click the Uncompress button.

About 15 formats are supported by WobZip: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS. Some of its basic features are:

  • Upload and unzip archive files online.
  • Maximum allowed archive zize: 100 MB.
  • Supported number of archive formats.
  • Archives cannot be encrypted or password-protected.

If you would like to uncompress a compressed file which is not on your computer, you can directly unzip file by using zip file URL. Files are all scanned before getting uncompressed using BitDefender Antivirus.

Overall, a very handy tool and can come in handy anytime!
