Free Orkut Themes
I’ve been getting lots of emails and requests to add more Orkut themes. I made a few searches and found some themes that worked well with Orkut. All the other old themes don’t work with Orkut now. Remember my old post about Orkut themes? Well, they don’t work any more. So that’s why I decided to share some new and working themes.
First you have to make sure that you meet all the requirements before you can start using these themes.

UPDATE (June 9, 2008): You all must be waiting for my reply… Sorry, to make you wait, friends. A few days ago, these themes stopped working, and I was testing them if any of them could work in any way. But unfortunately, these themes are not compatible with the latest changes in Orkut. A new set of compatible and working Orkut themes will be posted by tomorrow. Keep checking back!

Hi, here’s how you can activate your theme after installing greasemonkey addon in firefox and subsequent installation of a theme over it.
Right Click on the greasemokey icon on the bottom right hand corner of firefox and select “manage user scripts”.
You’ll see your installed themes on the left hand column of the window that pops up.
Now select orkut.com/* from the section: pages included and click on edit.
As an indian domain, orkut takes co.in by default for all the subsequent pages, ex. orkut.co.in/Home.aspx viz. orkut.co.in/*
So Edit it to orkut.co.in/* and say ok..
You’re done!!!!
Now you can simply highlight the theme that you want to use and say ok.
Don’t forget to edit the included page section to .co.in/* exten.

hey after downloading mozilla,download greace monkey…..then a symbol will appear at da ri8 most bottom……u select themes that u want….
there by choosing right click on symbol, go to manage user scripts…
u will b seeing the themes which u hv. selected……
in include pages….include orkut.co.in
then u select the theme u want…………….:)

hey guys installing orkut themes is pretty simple……just install grease monkey addon in firefox…..n download the theme…..then onen greasemonkey n frm the left side column select the theme and frm the include page section add the site url to which u wish to apply the theme n go back to ur site n notice d change……..pretty simple hugh!

you guys are really stupid to think that the script will change the way your orkut profile looks on the internet. The script is local to your machine and hence will change the settings of your profile on your machine and not somebody else machine. quit looking for a way and use those built-in (those are on the servers hosting orkut)

Hey people just installe greasemonkey from google in your mozilla firefox
then just below the photo here on this page it written click here to install
make sure you have grease monkey enabled (can be seen on bottom right of screen)
then these scripts will be installed they will work next time you open orkut in mozilla fire fox
P.S It will not work for mutiple tabs in that case only 1st tab will show effect
and this theme can be seen by just u and none of your friends

3]drag-drop the greasemonkey.xpi file in to Mozillafirefox window. click install.
4]download your Orkuttheme file -eg: (emma1 theme) to your computer (keep firefox open with greasemonkey running)
5] drag-n-drop selected theme into orkut page
6] click ok and refresh

For ur kind information guys,, this theme is only for ur machine.. first u’ll ve to disable ur orkut theme.. there after apply this themes through grasemonkey.. u’ll c ur profile coooolll… but the problem is that,, that is only for u.. no one other ( ur frnds in other machines) cant c ur theme.. so if u r thinking that u’ll b hero after doing this,, sorryy… u cant b.. so.. this is for ur own eye-satisfaction.. forget abot being hero.. njoy themes.. they r really nice ( if u r able to apply ).. thanx for downloading.. njoy….
