Microsoft Office 2007 SP1 Releasing On June 16
The leading software giant, Microsoft, released Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2007 about 5 months ago in December. At that time, the company officials said that they’d give customers a minimum 30-day advance notice before pushing out the service pack via its Automatic Update. SP1 has already been downloaded millions of times through Microsoft Download center.
Yesterday, on May 8, Microsoft announced they will be rolling out SP1 for Office 2007 for customers on June 16th, through Automatic Update. According to a Microsoft spokeswoman:
If you enjoyed this post, you might want to subscribe our RSS feed or become our Facebook fan! You will get all the latest updates at both the places.“Today we are providing our customers more than 30 days advance notice that SP1 for the 2007 Microsoft Office system, which was made available to the public on December 11, 2007, will be released via MU automatic distribution beginning June 16, 2008. This means that those customers who have not already installed SP1 and that have chosen to receive updates automatically will start to receive the service pack as early as June 16th. The distribution through MU is a gradual process and so not every customer will see the service pack on June 16th.â€
