Best VLC Media Player Skins

I use VLC Player for playing videos that others player don’ stupport. The default VLC Player skin is not good. The player looks dead with that. So to give life to it, I have nice collection of skins that I use.

    I have already seen these skins and i really ant that vlc to hv skins better looking than these…..as i like more funkier and striking skins ………..

    I have copied it to skilns directory under vlc installed directory, but still i cannot see it in meni of vlc player, how to make it work?

    Personally I like the default skin. It is small and compact taking up minimum screen space. Anyways good list of well done skins.

    I installed the WMP skin…. But now I am unable to remove it…
    Can anyone pls help me??
    I am using Linux O.S
    There is an option in VLC to change to default skin but its not working… :(

    skins r not so good…..n der is no cntrl bar in any skin during playin a video…

    Biggest downside: no fullscreen controls. And that's a BIG downside, and it's why I don't use skins.

    My OS has a black background. And the vlc buttons are in black. Biggest upside: I can use the VLC, chrisq!

    in case you`ve not figured it out yet, double clicking the video window toggles fullscreen on/off ..hope this helps.

    I think he meant no full screen controls as in you can't pause, skip frames and such while it's in full screen mode.

    press right ctrl + right arrow key for fast forward
    and right ctrl + left arrow key for backward.
    and right ctrl + up arrow key for increase in volume,
    right ctrl + down arrow key for decrease and space bar for pause. :)
