Download Google Videos As AVI Files
Downloading videos from Google Video is not a problem. But to play them you require Google Video Player. What if you want to download the videos in AVI format?
Well, I have even found the solution to this problem. :) All you need is a javascript code bookmarklet! Just drag and drop the bookmarklet below to your link toolbar.
It should look like this:
Remember, make sure your link toolbar is visible, or else it won’t work.
Next time you want to download videos from Google Video, while watching one, click the bookmarklet and save the video.
Due to some reason, not all players can render them. So, you’ll need a player like Media Player Classic, VLC Player, GOM Player etc. (All these are free :) ) that doesn’t give errors.
And yeah one more thing, the location of the AVI files in Google Videos can be found in the source code of the video pages. But unfortunately, it’s hidden for Windows users.
