Yahoo!’s Web Messenger

Yahoo! now offers a browser-based version of its popular instant messaging client, Yahoo! Messenger.

Even I didn’t knew about this. Yesterday, while reading Shankar Ganesh’s Blog I came to know about Yahoo!’s own web messenger.

It can be accessed from Web.im or webmessenger.yahoo.com.

The interface is built on flash. It even logs all of your chat messages as “message history”, and each conversation comes up as a new tab in the window-like interface. And all the message logs can be searched from the interface itself :).

Yahoo Web Messenger can be very useful if you want to chat with your Yahoo friends without installing Yahoo Messenger.
