		<description>Be vey careful when disabling services. There is no is no publicly available list anywhere that fully explains what these services do. Many do more than what is shown in Control Panel and have implications that are far from obvious. You might disable service today and all seems well. Six months later you install a new device or application and it fails or behaves strangely. This can result in hours of difficult troubleshooting.

The benefits of disabling services are highly overrated. Controlled testing has repaatedly shown that performance gains are very small, even on systems with limited RAM. In most cases the potential risks far outweigh the performance gains.
