Oh Yes, finally after all those delays its only 24 hours more to the final launch of Windows Vista. Below are some facts about Vista you wont find anywhere else
- Before its announcement on July 22, 2005, Vista was known by its codename Longhorn.
- Windows Vista development was completed in November 8, 2006.
- It is the only Operating System of Microsoft to have been delayed the most times.
- The release of Windows Vista takes place 5 years after the release of its predecessor, Windows XP, making it the longest time span between two releases of Windows.
- The primary objective of Microsoft to release Windows Vista was to improve the state of security in Windows Operating Systems and nothing else.
- The Operating System boasts to have the most number of bugs in BETA state than any other Microsoft Operating System.
- There is a life after Windows Vista, its called Windows Vienna codenamed Blackcomb is going to be the next operating system after Windows Vista.
- Windows Vienna is already in works, despite the fact that Windows Vista and Windows XP need a whole life to get bug free.
